Terms
The terms for this site and for the software.
What this is
This site tells you about Hearthkeep and keeps a waitlist. Hearthkeep is software a family runs to keep its own archive.
The software
Hearthkeep is licensed per archive: one license covers one family’s archive and every computer it runs on.
Updates are included while your license is paid: you get the versions released in that time. We don’t say how often a new version comes out.
If a license is not paid, the archive becomes read-only until it is. Nothing is deleted.
A Hearthkeep Cloud archive that stays unpaid is read-only for thirty days, with the date emailed to its admins, and may be deleted after that. Taking it home is always free.
It is provided as it is, without warranty, to the extent the law allows.
